Futsal tryouts conclude, teams announced nov 11 2007
Over 20 athletes showed up to try out for the futsal teams. There were three total tryout dates,
due to some scheduling conflicts with the practice facilities. The GM's want to thank everyone
who showed up and put forth a true effort to be a part of these teams.

Tryout Information oct 19 2007
Tryouts for the two futsal teams will be on October 30 and September 6. Doors
open at 5:45 if you need to get there early and change. Remember to wear the
proper equipment! Tryouts at 6:00 pm sharp!
If you cannot make it to either of the tryouts, you must contact the
Futsal General Managers and make other arrangements.
After the tryouts, new team members
will be announced right here on CreteSoccer.com!
Practices will be Tuesdays at 6:00 pm, at the elementary school gym.
The Dragons and Knights will practice together. Uniforms will be provided for
each team. We are looking forward to seeing YOU on Oct. 30!
And the winner is . . . oct 3 2007
A real close race for the logos has ended and the winner is...Logo 1.
This will be the logo used by the new Crete Knights Futsal team.

Arsenal Dragons & Crete Knights aug

The General Managers have unveiled the name for the second Futsal team, the
Crete Knights.
We had a chance to speak with the GM for the Dragons team and here
is what he had to say:
"I'm very happy to see that there was enough interest from the kids to make up two teams."
As for the name of the team, "we had a hard time coming up with a name but that was an easy
task compared to designing the logo. We finally got down to two logos and we will let our
CreteSoccer.com viewers vote on which logo they like."
"We are still thinking of holding the tryouts in October, we should have an
exact date and time by Tuesday (09/04/07). The only other thing that I can
discuss at this time is the setup and requirements for the Futsal teams.
Practices will be held behind closed doors and they will only be open to those
involved with the team. Also, only those enrolled in the district of Crete will be
eligible to participate."

2007 Winter Indoor Champions, Arsenal Dragons, looking for a few good men
Our inside sources have revealed to us that tryouts will be held in October.
They have also informed us of the creation of a new team, the name of which
has yet to be revealed. The Arsenal Dragons will be returning eight players
from its' 2007 squad. They will have two important spots to fill, one being
a goalie, and the other a defense man.
As for the new team, we can only assume that they have ten roster spots up for grabs.
General Managers for the teams will be announcing the official name of the
second Futsal team, as well as information on the tryouts in the coming weeks.
